It will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X, and you can now track it on Steam.
Maybe the name of Starward Industries I don’t tell you much, but if we tell you that it is a Polish studio that has participated in the development of The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 or Dying Light among others, you may still be more excited. Not surprisingly, the team has announced a new video game with a most promising technical, artistic and musical invoice. This is The Invincible.
“The Invincible is a sci-fi thriller first person set in a retro-futuristic timeline “reads its official description.” After waking up on a hostile planet, you embark on a mysterious mission to find the lost crew of your spaceship. As you try to survive, the terrifying secrets of the planet will be revealed to you. “
Taking into account the trajectory of the studio in its collaborations with CD Projekt, it is not surprising that they have chosen the path of adaptation from another format: as reveal from The Gamer, The Invincible is actually a video game conversion of the soap opera homonymous of Stanislaw Herman Lem, Polish science fiction writer and author of Cyberiad among others. In fact, it seems that we will soak up his ideas about transhumanism, other possible life forms, and more.
Although we have not been able to see a trailer or a gameplay of the game, at least its managers have shared several screenshots and a video (attached in the news) that offers us a preview of the sound band. Its release date is a mystery, so we will settle for knowing that it will arrive on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. If you are interested, you can add it to your wish list on Steam now. Starward does not close the doors to other adaptations of Lem’s works in the future, although it will all depend on how they do with The Invincible.
